Our Vision
Gaps in accessing capital, resources, and high-value services across social impact (as a sector and as a lever in traditional sectors) prompted us to establish the SICollective.
Our model bridges management consulting services and purpose-driven social innovation; We offer both advisory and implementation services that are tailored towards social impact stakeholders and their limitations, as well as our own in-house developed impact initiatives and programs.

We believe that fair access to platforms, resources, and opportunities is foundational to building equitable socioeconomic systems. Our consulting practice was designed to widen the reach of management consulting as a high-value yet costly model, and our community work is driven by creating and bridging platforms that enable under-equipped groups and sectors.

Social impact ventures and organizations are usually burdened with resource limitations, adding more operational weight and leaving less room for innovation. We see that very challenge as a call for creativity, and for cutting-edge solutions to not just be implemented for social impact, but further refined and advanced through social impact as a platform.

Our internal R&D function’s primary focus is to pursue innovation at the intersection of commercial and philanthropic offerings. This includes finding commercially viable models to impact initiatives, creating platforms that bridge efforts from the private and philanthropic sectors, and exploring digital solutions at this intersection.
R&D work also crosses over with our consulting function in understanding and advancing global metrics, standards, and frameworks relating to sustainability and broader social impact, formulating whitepapers and publishing resources in collaboration with partner organizations.
Our programs and initiatives function makes up the core of our standing as a community hub, we ideate, create, and operationalize community initiatives, either for our client-facing work or as in-house programs. This extends from discussion forums and events to building consortiums & cross-sector collaborations.
We also hold active community relations, whether directly relating to our programs or to generally reinforce our standing and the broader ecosystem, proactively engaging with individuals and organizations in the impact space to understand challenges and developments in the landscape and connect stakeholders with shared goals
Organizations within target sectors and topics represent those that contribute most to positive social impact adapting our model to their challenges and limitations is key to our larger mission.
Introducing flexibility by design within our operating model to maximize where efforts are targeted in a sector with limited resources
Recruitment targeting skill sets that are relevant but generally applicable across our functions and offerings.
Internal mentoring programs enabling individuals to supporting clients agnostically.
Understanding the challenges of our clients and broader ecosystem outside of direct project work as an essential part of contributing to impact.
Periodical sit-downs with clients and active organizations in the social impact sector to understand challenges and their effective solutions.
Leveraging of our two-fold standing ( as a service provider and a community hub) to propose collaboration-centered initiatives.
Providing the most impact to organizations by leveraging technology, existing frameworks, and internal handbooks and tools.
